When will my baby arrive?
You may have a due date, but babies develop in their own time.
These statistics show the odds of baby coming early, late, or right on time:
• 6 per cent of babies were born late (week 42 and after)
• 12 per cent arrived early (before week 37)
• 82 per cent showed up on time (between weeks 37 and 41)
Most babies will most likely be born right around their due date. Unless it is a scheduled delivery, you can never know for sure, even when you are trying to listen to your body.
