What are the early signs of pregnancy?

They say, “when you know, you know”. But when you don’t? The first thing you do is search online and you will see the same answers time and time again - shortness of breath, backaches, frequent urination, nausea, fatigue, food cravings and many more. But let's take look at some of the popular ones.

Extreme Hunger/ Hunger Pangs
- this can be a total nuisance! The hunger is real you guys. You will have to eat every couple of hours, do not keep your stomach empty. Try to deal with it by eating healthy and nutritious foods, small amounts at a time.

Nausea - hands down the worse thing that can happen. Especially when it’s on the daily. Nausea kicks in as soon as the HCG in our pregnant bodies increases. If you must know, HCG has important functions in our bodies, like being responsible for maintaining the level of hormones. It also provides the baby with nutrients until the placenta takes over, which is often by the end of the first trimester. But in all fairness, not everyone feels nauseous when pregnant - we have met many moms who don’t have this symptom.

Late Period - it’s a pretty obvious sign if you ask us, so if you’re about 3 weeks to a month late, its best to head out to the nearest pharmacy to get a pregnancy test.

Cramps - it will feel like period cramps, but without the period. It’s known as implantation cramping that happens when the fetus attaches itself to the walls of the uterus. It could result in little bleeding, but please note, severe bleeding and cramping is not normal and if it happens, we advise that you consult your doctor asap.
